Stand-Alone
Transmitters |
|
 |
|
The
features discussed on the previous pages are the ones
that make Crown transmitters ideal for stand-alone use.
When you add an audio source, an antenna, and AC or DC
power, the transmitter becomes a complete FM stereo
broadcast station, capable of serving a community. |
|

|
|
Even
our low power units (such as the FM30, FM150, and FM300) are ideal
stand-alone transmitters-especially for community and campus radio
settings.
In
stand-alone use, Crown transmitters often replace multiple pieces of
equipment present in a traditional setup (exciter, audio processor, RF
amplifier). That represents both a usability and cost advantage to the
small station operator.
